Document lost from Ctg court found in junk shop

A number of case documents lost from a Chattogram court were found at a junk shop. Nine sacks of documents were found in the Patharghata Satishbabu Lenin Area on Thursday.

One person was detained in this incident, Kotowali Police Station Officer in Charge Abdul Karim confirmed. 

Police said the case document stolen from the balcony of the Chittagong Court was sold at the junk shop on a weight basis. Police analysed the court's CCTV footage to find the suspect. 

The detained man is named Russel. He used to sell tea at the court premises. He sold the stolen goods for Tk 16 per kg.
