Pori Moni secures bail in murder attempt case

Actress Pori Moni has secured bail in a murder attempt case lodged by businessman Nasir Uddin Mahmud. 

Dhaka Judicial Magistrate's Court-1 Mohammad Zunayed granted her bail after a hearing when she appeared before the court to surrender on Monday morning. 

On Sunday (January 26), an arrest warrant was issued against Pori Moni. 

Dhaka Judicial Magistrate's Court-1 Mohammad Zunayed issued the warrant after ordering to frame charges against her in the court. The court also dismissed her petition, seeking time for her non-appearance before it, Pori Moni's advocate Nilanjona Rifat Surovi confirmed. 

The court also framed charges against her in her absence in the case.

Another accused Junayed Karim Jimmy alias Jimmy also faces an arrest warrant in the case.
