Train services resume, schedule disrupted

Train communications resumed in parts of the country on Wednesday after Bangladesh Railways’ (BR) running staff called off their strike. However, the schedule of some trains remained disrupted. 

Director General of BR Afzal Hossain told the media that some staff had left their workplace due to the strike. They are late in coming back to work, therefore the schedule for some trains was disrupted. 

Kamalapur Station Master Anwar Hossain said about 10 trains left the station by 10:15am on Wednesday.
