Titumir College students block road at Mohakhali

A few hundred students of the Titumir College blocked the road in front of their institution on Thursday, demanding their educational institute be turned into a university.

Confirming the matter, Banani Police Station Officer in Charge Russel Sarowar said additional police force was deployed in the area to avoid any untoward incidents. 

Earlier, at around 5pm on Wednesday, the students went on an indefinite hunger strike.
