Last chance for Saad followers to organise Ijtema in Tongi: Home ministry

Followers of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi of India will not be allowed to organize the Bishwa Ijtema at the Tongi Ijtema ground in Tongi from next year, according to a circular of Ministry of Home Affairs.  

The circular states that the followers of Tablighi Jamaat Bangladesh's Shura-e-Nizam, Maulana Mohammad Zubair, will complete the Ijtema on February 5 and hand it over to the Maidan administration after Maghrib on February 6. 

The second phase of the Ijtema will be held from February 14 to 16, with the followers of Maulana Saad. 

However, after Maghrib on February 18, the Saad followers will hand over the Ijtema ground to the administration. 

And, the Saad faction will not be able to organize the Ijtema and conduct Tablighi activities at the Ijtema ground in Tongi from next year.
