Second part of first phase of Ijtema ends with Akheri Munajat

The second part of the first phase of the 58th Bishwa Ijtema, the second largest congregation of Muslims, concluded on Wednesday as thousands of devotees prayed for unity, peace and welfare of the Muslim Ummah. 

The congregation began at around 12:09 pm at the Ijtema venue in Tongi as Mawlana Hafez Zubair conducted the munajat. 

Devout pilgrims from different parts of the country took part in the munajat early in the morning. The worshipers expressed their desire for self-purification and forgiveness, in this particularly significant munajat.
