Actress Shaon arrested

Actress and producer Meher Afroz Shaon has been arrested from Dhanmondi area in the capital on Thursday evening.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Detective Branch’s Chief Rezaul Karim Mallik told the Daily Samakal that Shaon was arrested from her Dhanmondi residence around 8pm.

He said Shaon has been arrested on charges of conspiracy against the state.
