Video cases on expressway to come into effect Feb 21

Starting February 21, police will begin filing video cases against vehicles exceeding the speed limit on the Dhaka Elevate Expressway, the authorities announced Saturday.

First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Ltd head of the traffic safety and security department Captain (retd) Hasib Hasan Khan said "Cases will be filed against vehicles exceeding  the speed limit of of 100 kmph."

He made the remark at a press conference held at the Expressway Central Control Building at Kuril of the Capital. 

Captain (retd) Hasib Hasan Khan added that any vehicle with three such cases will be banned from plying on the expressway.
