Cold snap over 6 districts to continue

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted the continuation of a cold snap across six districts. Temperatures may also fall slightly across the country. 

Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mallik said, a mild cold wave swept over Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Moulavibazar, and Chuadanga on Saturday. It will persist Sunday too. 

Temperatures across the country may start to rise from Monday, he added. 

The BMD on Sunday forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country.

Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during late night to early morning.

The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.

The sun sets at 05:50 pm on Sunday and rises on Monday at 06:35 am.
