EC does not want to stand for or against any political party: CEC

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin has stated that the commission does not want to engage in politics or stand for any political party. 

He emphasized that political control over the EC is the most significant factor behind the Commission's criticism. 

The CEC stated that the Commission is determined to hold a free, fair, and credible election. 

Nasir Uddin addressed the annual general meeting and prize distribution ceremony of the Reporters Forum for Election and Democracy (RFED) at Nirbachan Bhaban on Sunday.
