343 more arrested during Operation Devil Hunt

Joint forces have arrested 343 more people across the country between Sunday evening and this afternoon.

The arrests were made as part of the ongoing operation Devil Hunt.

In addition, according to sources at the police headquarters, a total of 1,178 people were arrested in other cases and based on warrants.

During the operation, the joint forces recovered one foreign pistol, two magazines, 11 rounds of bullets, and six shotgun cartridges.

On Saturday, the interim government launched Devil Hunt operation to restore law and order following incident in Gazipur.

A total of 1,308 people were arrested under Operation Devil Hunt and in other cases on Sunday.
