CA leaves Dhaka for Dubai to join World Governments Summit

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has left Dhaka for Dubai to attend the “World Governments Summit-2025”.

The summit will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

A flight of the Emirates airlines carrying Prof Yunus and his entourage members departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 7:45 pm, said Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.

During his brief visit to Dubai, the chief adviser is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with the heads of state and government from different countries on the sidelines of the summit.

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum invited the chief adviser to the summit at a formal invitation on January 13, 2025.

The World Governments Summit, established in 2013 under the leadership of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, serves as a global platform for exchanging government experiences and innovations.

Prof Yunus is scheduled to return home on February 14.
