Light rain or drizzle likely in parts of country: BMD

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted that light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions over the country.

"Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country", said the forecast issued Friday. 

Light to moderate fog may occur over the country late at night to early in the morning.

Night temperatures may fall slightly while day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.

On Thursday, the country's maximum temperature was recorded at 32.0 degrees Celsius at Khulna, while the lowest temperature on Friday was 09.6 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

In the capital, the sun sets Friday at 05:53pm and rises Saturday at 06:32am.
