Four DIGs of police sent on force retirement

The government has sent four Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of Police on force retirement.

The Home Ministry issued separate notifications in this regard on Sunday.  

The retired officers are Md Abdul Quddus Amin, DIG of the Naval Police, Md Nisharul Arif of the Anti-Terrorism Unit, Amena Begum and Md. Azad Mia of the Highway Police.

The notification mentioned that the four police officers were sent on retirement as per Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018.
