KUET shut indefinitely

The authorities of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have suspended all academic activities until further notice.

A notice signed by Kuet Registrar Engineer Md Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan was issued in this regard on Tuesday.

The decision came in face of recent student protests.

In the notice, it is stated that all residential halls will be closed indefinitely citing security reasons.

Students have been asked to vacate the residential halls by 10:00am on Wednesday, it also added.
