Govt appoints civil surgeons in 41 districts

The government has appointed civil surgeons in 41 districts.

To this end, two separate notifications signed by Deputy Secretary Sanjida Sharmin were issued on Sunday (March 2).

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the notifications, ordered "the transferred/promoted officers" to join their new workplace by March 9.

"Otherwise, they will be considered immediately relieved from their current workplace from next Sunday," the notifications add.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday made 29 civil surgeons OSD.
