Prof CR Abrar sworn in as adviser

Professor Chowdhury R Abrar took the oath as a new adviser of the interim government on Wednesday.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at Bangabhaban at 11 am. 

Prof Abrar is the Executive Director of RMMRU. He taught International Relations at the University of Dhaka for four decades.

He studied at the University of Dhaka, the University of Sussex and Griffith University in Australia.

On Tuesday night, Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said at a press briefing at Foreign Service Academy that CR Abrar is expected to take charge as the education adviser.

Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud currently holds the position of Education Adviser.
