CA's special assistant Aminul Islam resigns

Professor Dr M Aminul Islam, a special assistant to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, resigned from his post on Monday.

Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam made the disclosure at a press conference at Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka.

Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus appointed three special assistants, including Aminul, with the rank of state minister in late November last year.

Dr M Aminul Islam was given executive authority to assist the adviser for the Ministry of Education.
