DU declares one-day closure in honour of former VC Arefin Siddique

The authorities of Dhaka University have announced a one-day closure on Sunday in honour of former vice-chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique, who passed away on Thursday.

Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, acting director of the Public Relations Office, made the announcement in an official statement.

The university made the decision in accordance with its tradition of honouring former vice-chancellors and respected faculty members.
