CA recalls longstanding Bangladesh-China people-to-people ties

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Friday recalled that Bangladesh and China have a long history of people-to-people relations.

"It's not only political relationship but also social relationship, people-to-people relationship, which is very crucial," he told a bilateral meeting with Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China.

The meeting was held at a state guest house in Beijing.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to bilateral interest. 

Prof Yunus said the Bangladesh-China relationship is moving towards the next level.
