4 of a family killed in Mymensingh road crash

A woman, two daughters and a grandmother of the same family were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a battery-powered auto-rickshaw in Gouripur, Mymensingh. 

Two more people were injured in the incident took place at 6:30 am on Sunday when a Mymensingh-bound truck collided head-on with a battery-powered auto-rickshaw headed to Gouripur in front of Pragati Feed Mill in Gazipur area.

The deceased are Kulsuma Begum, 95, her daughter Dilruba, 40, and her two daughters Preeti, 7, and Riti, 14.

In addition, two daughters of the same family, Mahi, 16, and Shyamoli, 20, are undergoing treatment at the Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital.
