Mild heat wave sweeps over some districts

The Bangladesh Met Office said that a mild heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi division and Dinajpur, Sayedpur and Chuadanga districts.

Trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area as seasonal low lies over the South Bay, it said.

The day and night temperature may fall slightly over northern region of the country and may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country, it said.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country with possibility of rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes.

Temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over northeastern part of the country.
