Mild heat wave sweeps over parts of country

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Jashore and Chuadanga.

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) stated this in the morning of Thursday.

BMD, in a press release, said the mild heat wave may continue.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, the release said.

The met office also predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.

Trough of low lies over the West Bengal and adjoining area and seasonal low lies over the South Bay, it added.
