Elderly man found dead in Mirpur flat

Police have recovered the decomposed body of an elderly man from a flat in Mirpur-11.

The deceased was identified as Mashrur Rahman, 65.

Upon receiving the information on Friday, police, along with a team from the fire service, went to the flat and recovered the body after breaking down the door.

The body was sent to the morgue of Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

A case was filed with the Pallabi Police Station in this regard.
