Educational institutions to celebrate Pahela Baishakh on their own initiative

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education said that educational institutions across the country will celebrate Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bengali New Year, under their own management.

A directive was issued in this regard by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education on Monday.

The instruction read that all schools and colleges will make necessary arrangements to observe the day on their own initiative.
