Rain, thunderstorms likely in 3 divisions

A low pressure has formed over the Bay of Bengal, which may cause rainfall in some places in Bangladesh on Tuesday, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has said in their regular weather bulletin. 

"A low pressure has formed over the Central part of the South Bay of Bengal and adjoining area. It is likely to move Northwestwards till 08 April and thereafter likely to move Northwards," read the forecast. 

Rain or thundershower with lightning flashes and gusty wind is likely at one or two places over Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. 

The weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere in the country. Day and night temperatures will remain nearly unchanged. 

Meanwhile, a mild heat wave continues to sweep over the districts of Faridpur, Madaripur, Jashore, Noakhali, Feni, Chattogram, Bandarban, and Rangamati.
