Names of two police stations changed

The government has changed names of two police stations in Tangail and Sirajganj districts. 

In this regard, a notification has been issued on Tuesday from the Home Ministry's Police-2 wing.

Previously, the names of the police stations were Bangabandhu Setu Purba Thana in Tangail and Bangabandhu Setu Pashchim Thana in Sirajganj district. 

They have now been renamed Jamuna Setu Purba Thana and Jamuna Setu Pashchim Thana, respectively.

The notification will come into effect immediately.
