SSC exams commence today

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2025 has begun on Thursday morning under all the education boards across the country.

Under the general education boards, the exams started with the Bangla first paper.

This year, the SSC exams will cover the whole syllabus, with full marks and full duration for all subjects, according to the revised schedule released by the Board of Intermediate and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka.

Approximately 19.28 lakh students are anticipated to take the exams this year, a number that is, on average, more than one lakh lower than the figures from the previous four years.

The exams will continue until May 13.

All theoretical tests will be held from 10:00am to 1:00pm on the scheduled dates, while practical exams are slated for May 15 to 22.
