Students of Dhaka College, Dhaka City College clash

Students of Dhaka City College and Dhaka College clashed in the capital's Science Laboratory area.

The reason for the clash was not immediately known.

Eyewitnesses said that students of City College took positions under the Science Lab Footover Bridge and students of Dhaka College took positions in front of the Government Teachers Training College. Both sides are exchanging bricks and stones.

Traffic on that road is being disrupted.

No statement was received from any police official on this matter. However, officials of the Ramna division of the police are trying to control the situation. Additional police have been deployed at the scene to avert any further clash.
