The authorities of Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) have lifted the temporary expulsion of 37 KUET students.
The authorities have also reopened seven residential halls.
Classes are set to resume on May 4.
The decision came in a KUET syndicate meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
Previously, on April 14, the syndicate had expelled the 37 students and shut down all residential halls following clashes on February 18 over demands to end student politics on the campus.
Despite the earlier closure, students had already occupied the halls by breaking locks—six male halls on April 15 and one female hall - Rokeya Hall - on Tuesday evening, defying the university's prior directive.
