Metrorail services resume

Metrorail services resumed after one and a half hours suspension caused by a technical glitch. 

The power supply from the Bijoy Sarani substation was disrupted at 5:10 pm, halting train operations. 

Services were restored by 6:45 pm after the issue was fixed. 

Passengers reported trains stopping abruptly at Shahbagh and Agargaon stations. 

According to Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), a fault in the power supply of Overhead Catenary System caused trains to stop at multiple stations, inconveniencing passengers.
