Ex-PM Sheikh Hasina's personal officer Mizanur held in city

Police on Wednesday night have arrested SM Mizanur Rahman, a personal officer of the deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, from the Science Laboratory area in the capital.

New Market Police Station Sub Inspector (SI) Ashraful Omar confirmed the arrest incident.

Mizanur, a personal officer (private) of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was arrested from the Science Laboratory area around 8pm on Wednesday.

Mizanur was accused in multiple criminal cases on charges of extortion, tender manipulation and patronising subversive attacks on the key point installations in Dhaka, he said.
