Injured protesters block Shahbagh, demand full AL ban

A group of people injured during last year's July uprising staged a sit-in protest at Dhaka’s busy Shahbagh intersection on Sunday morning, demanding a formal ban on the Awami League (AL), realising the July proclamation, and proper treatment of the injured.

Previously, a large number of protesters from several organisations including the National Citizen Party (NCP) staged a protest at Shahbag for two days calling for a ban on AL.
