Probe report against Sheikh Hasina, 2 others submitted to prosecution

The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has submitted an investigation report to the prosecution against ousted former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and two others in a case over charges of genocide, murder and crimes against humanity in July-August.

Prosecutor Gazi M H Tamim told the Daily Samakal that the report along with all the documents and CD were submitted to the prosecution on Monday. 

The other two named in the case were former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former Police IG Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun. 

The prosecution team will now verify and thoroughly review the investigation report before submitting it to the ICT with the formal charge sheet.
