Policeman dies after being hit by train in Dhaka

A police member died after being hit by a train in the Ashkona area in the capital on Saturday night. 

The deceased was identified as K M Munsur Ali. He was an SI at the Dakkhinkhan Police Station. 

Confirming the matter, the police station's Officer in Charge Taifur Rahman Mirza said Munsur Ali was walking along the train track and talking on his phone at around 9:30pm. He was on his way to home in Pallabi after finishing his duty at the Ashkona Hajj Camp. The Dhaka-bound Padma Express hit the police. 

After the accident, Munsul Ali was rushed to the Kuwait-Bangladesh Maitree Hospital, where the duty doctor declared him dead.
