Inclement weather may continue countrywide

Rainfall accompanied by stormy weather is prevailing across the country and it may continue at many places on Wednesday, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said. 

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions, at a few places over Dhaka and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions," according to the regular BMD weather forecast. 

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. 

The highest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 37 degrees Celsius at Jashore. The lowest temperature recorded Wednesday was 22 degrees Celsius at both Rangpur and Bandarban. 

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:37pm on Wednesday and rise at 5:13am on Thursday.
