Top terrorists Subrata Bain and Mollah Masud were reportedly arrested from Kushtia on Tuesday.

In this regard, Kushtia District Police Spokesperson Additional Superintendent of Police Faisal Mahmud told The Daily Samakal, “We have heard the news of the arrest. However, we do not know who made the arrests and from where. We are also trying to find out the arrest issue. The police did not participate in the operation.”

Meanwhile, the ISPR said that details on arrests of Subrata Bain and Mollah Masud will be disclosed in a press conference at 5 pm today.

Subrata Bain was a hot topic in Dhaka's criminal world in the 1990s. He was involved in controlling tenders and extortion in various places of the capital city. A good number of murders and injuries occurred while committing these criminal activities.
