First congregation of Eid-ul-Azha held at Baitul Mukarram

The first Eid-ul-Azha congregation was held on Saturday at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka this year.
The four others congregational prayers are set to be held at 8am, 9am, 10am, and 10:45 am, according to the Islamic Foundation press release.
Dr Khalilur Rahman Madani led the first jamaat at 7:00 am.
The second Jamaat is set to be conducted by Dr Mawlana Abu Saleh Patwary at 8:00 am, while the third, scheduled for 9:00 am, will be led by Dr Mushtaque Ahmad.
Mufti M Abdullah will lead the fourth jamaat at 10:00 am, followed by the fifth jamaat at 10:45 am, which will be conducted by Mawlana Mohammad Noor Uddin.
If any designated Imam is unable to attend, Mawlana Muhammad Shahidul Islam will lead the respective congregation.
This year, Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated in Bangladesh on June 7.
It is one of the most significant religious festivals for Muslims, marked by ritual animal sacrifice.
Since the new moon of Zilhajj was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, Eid-ul-Azha was observed there on Jun 6, with Hajj taking place on Jun 5.
Eid in Bangladesh is typically celebrated a day after it is observed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
