BNP files case against 3 former CEC's, Sheikh Hasina

BNP has filed a case against former Chief Election Commissioners and other commissioners who were responsible for the 10th, 11th, and 12th National Parliamentary Elections, Sheikh Hasina, and 18 more people.

BNP Central Committee Member Salahuddin Khan filed the case on Sunday with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station. Three senior party leaders accompanied him.

A copy of the complaint against former CECs Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad, KM Nurul Huda, and Kazi Habibul Awal was earlier submitted to the Election Commission office.

On June 16, during a meeting of the National Consensus Commission at the state guest house Jamuna, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus directed the relevant authorities to immediately form a committee to investigate the role of the former Chief Election Commissioners, Election Commissioners, and Secretaries of the Election Commission Secretariat in the three controversial parliamentary elections.
