2 die from Covid-19, dengue in Cumilla

Two people have died from Covid-19 and dengue, respectively, in Cumilla's Burichong and Daudkandi on Sunday. 

Confirming the matter, Cumilla Civil Surgeon Dr Ali Noor Mohammad Bashir Ahmed said the man who died from Covid-19 was a resident of the Kabila area of Burichong. Meanwhile, the man who died from dengue was identified as Ruhul Amin, 60. He was a resident of the Nagerkandi area of Daudkandi municipality. 

According to govt data, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the district reached 12 this month. On the other hand, 264 people in the district were infected by dengue this year. In the last two months, 5 people died from dengue in the Daudkandi Upazila.
