2 die, 12 more Covid-19 reported in Ctg

Two deaths and 12 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Chattogram in the past 24 hours, bringing the total cases to 74 over the last 15 days, according to Dr. Jahangir Alam, Civil Surgeon of Chattogram. 

Testing is being conducted at 12 laboratories, including Chattogram Medical College Hospital and Chattogram General Hospital. 

Currently, 55 patients are receiving treatment in designated hospitals. Of the 74 cases, 62 are from the port city, and 12 are from various upazilas. 

The district's death toll has reached four with one additional death. 

Dr. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that the Health Department is taking comprehensive measures to curb the outbreak and urged the public to avoid crowds and wear masks.
