August 8 to be celebrated as 'New Bangladesh Day'

The government has declared August 8 as the 'New Bangladesh Day'. 

It has been decided to include the date as a 'Kha' category day in the observance of national and international days to be celebrated every year. 

All concerned ministries, departments and organizations have been asked to properly implement it. 

Cabinet Division on Thursday issued a circular to this end.
