Govt to establish BCS Information Academy

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken a preliminary decision to establish the BCS Information Academy.

This academy will be built at a convenient location in the city. 

This decision was taken at a meeting held at the ministry recently with Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam in the chair, said a press release on Sunday.

Regarding the establishment of the BCS Information Academy, Mahfuj Alam said that the activities to establish this academy will be started during the current interim government.

If the BCS Information Academy is established, it will play an effective role in developing the skills of information service officials, he added. 

He called on the officials concerned of the ministry to take initiatives to establish the academy.

Referring to the need to establish the BCS Information Academy, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana said the ministry will work sincerely to establish this academy.
