Former MP Naimur Rahman Durjoy arrested

Former Member of Parliament (MP) of Manikganj-1 constituency and former captain of the national cricket team Naimur Rahman Durjoy has been arrested.

He was arrested from the capital's Lalmatia area on Wednesday, said Dhaka Range DIG Rezaul Karim Mallick.

He has multiple cases against him, including murder, for the anti-discrimination movement.
