PSTC marks 47 years of impact: A legacy of care, a future of possibilities

Population Services and Training Center (PSTC) celebrated its 47th anniversary on Thursday, with the theme "PSTC @ 47: A Legacy of Care, A Future of Possibilities." 

The event was a vibrant blend of celebration, reflection, and renewed dedication to PSTC’s mission of promoting health, rights, and dignity for all, according to a press release.

The occasion was graced by Sanjeeda Islam, Chairperson of the Governing Body, joined by esteemed Board Member Dr. Md. Golam Rahman and Treasurer Badrul Munir. 

Their presence underscored PSTC’s unwavering commitment to its strategic vision and social mission.

Dr. Noor Mohammad, PSTC’s Executive Director, delivered a compelling presentation highlighting the organisation’s transformative journey. 

He outlined key milestones and innovations across sectors like sexual and reproductive health, youth empowerment, climate resilience, education, and humanitarian response, cementing PSTC’s role as a trusted development partner.

“PSTC’s 47 years reflect our unwavering people-first values and dedication to equity and justice,” said Sanjeeda Islam. 

“As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward with renewed vigour to a future where PSTC continues to inspire hope, opportunity, and positive change,” she added.

Staff from PSTC’s diverse projects nationwide and head office joined the event, fostering a sense of unity and pride in the organisation’s shared mission and achievements.

As PSTC embarks on its 48th year, it remains committed to building an inclusive, rights-based, and equitable society where everyone can thrive with dignity and agency.
