48th special BCS results out: Over 5,200 candidates qualify

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published the results of the 48th (Special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written (MCQ) examination, with 5,206 candidates passing.

According to a BPSC press release issued on 20 July, a total of 4,695 candidates qualified for the assistant surgeon post, and 511 for the assistant dental surgeon post.

The exam took place on 18 July. Full results and further details are available on the BPSC website: www.bpsc.gov.bd.

The commission noted that the results may be subject to amendments if required.

Oral examinations for successful candidates are scheduled to begin on August 6, with a detailed schedule to be published in newspapers and on the BPSC website soon.
