Commission formed to probe Milestone jet crash

The government has formed a 9-member commission to probe the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) fighter plane crash at the Milestone School and College in the capital’s Uttara area on July 21. 

A Cabinet Division gazette in this regard was issued on Sunday night. The commission was directed to submit a probe report to the government within the next four weeks.

The commission will be headed by former secretary AKM Zafar Ullah Khan. The other members include a retired air vice marshal, three additional secretaries from three ministries, Dhaka divisional commissioner, an urban planner, and a professor of mechanical engineering department of Buet.
