Gas supply to be halted for 11hrs in some areas of Dhaka

Gas supply will remain halted for eleven hours in some areas of Dhaka on Sunday, the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company said. 

According to a Titas release, gas supply will be halted for gas pipeline relocation under the Dhaka-Narayanganj-Demra (DND) area's sewage system improvement from 8am to 7pm on Sunday.  

The areas affected by the disruption are areas around Jurain, Dholair Paar, Zia Sarani, Donia, Shonir Akhra, Matuail, Nama Shyampur, Polashnagar, and Mridhabari. Some areas in the vicinity may experience low pressure of gas. 

The Titas Gas authority regretted the inconvenience of its customers for the disruption in gas supply.
