Dhaka North City Sramik League President Humayun Kabir held in Turag

The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested the President of Dhaka North City Sramik League, Md Humayun Kabir, 48, from Turag, on the outskirts of the capital.

He was arrested after conducting a raid at the Turag Police Station area around 12:30 am on Monday.

Deputy Commissioner of DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrest.

The detainee is accused of multiple cases linked to the July Uprising.
