Stormy weather to hit 7 regions by afternoon

Seven regions of the country will be affected by stormy weather by afternoon on Tuesday, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a warning. 

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary south or south-easterly gusty or squally wind speed 45-60kph is likely to occur over the regions of Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox's Bazar," the Inland Riverports Warning valid till 1pm has said. 

The riverports in these regions were advised to hoist cautionary signal no one (R) one.
